Camp Quality Options:

We have three camp quality options that reflect the quality of the performances and food. The first is the economy camp, the second is a deluxe camp and the third is a super deluxe camp.

Itinerary:

  • Visitors will be collected from the railway or bus station whenever they arrive.
  • Local sightseeing opportunities are available from 9am until 1pm:
    • Sonar Kila Fort - including impressive Jain temples and city views,
    • Patva Haveli,
    • Diwan Nathmal ki Haveli,
    • Moti Mahal (Salim Singh ki Haveli),
    • Badal Vilas (King's Palace),
    • Garisar Lake.
  • There will be a break for lunch between 1 and 3pm.
  • At 3pm, a car will drive visitors into the desert.
  • On this journey, the first stop will be at Bada Bag – a memorial site where Chhatris of Maharajahs can be seen.
  • The second stop will be Amar Sagar where visitors can see a beautiful Jain temple, garden and lake.
  • Lodarva will be your third stop, the old capital of Jaisalmer.
  • The last stop before our desert destination will be at Kuldhara, a 600 year old deserted desert village.
  • Guests will arrive at our royal, luxury camp where they will receive a traditional Rajasthani welcome.
  • From here, visitors will experience a 40 minute camel ride and have the opportunity to explore Sam Sand Dunes at sunset.
  • After sunset, guests will return to the camp in time to see our impressive cultural programs:
    • a.Kalbeliya Gypsies will perform traditional folk dances such as ghommer, bhawai and chakri. Local Rajasthani folk musicians will perform a mix of traditional Rajasthani, Gajal, Sufi, Punjabi and Filmi music. Tea, coffee snacks are provided during these performances. After this, guests are invited to dance with our performers as a group.
  • Dinner will be a buffet of mixed Rajasthani and Punjabi foods, including ker sangri, daal bhati, gatta curry, mixed veg and pulav. (Special menus and drinks will be provided for the Christmas and New Year period).
  • After the program finishes at 10pm, guests can be driven back to the city between 10.30 and 11pm.
